ASE Certification

Is Auto Technician Certification Required in Michigan?

At this time, auto technician certification is not compulsory in Michigan.

Despite the fact that auto tech certification isn’t presently mandatory in most states, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is heading a movement to make it a requirement for employment. Due to this in the works, it is strongly advised that any individual thinking about becoming a surgical assistant should seek certification through the ASE.
