ASE Certification

Is Auto Technician Certification Necessary in New Mexico?

Currently, auto technician certification isn’t required in New Mexico.

Although auto tech certification isn’t presently compulsory in most states, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is leading a movement to make it a requirement for employment. Due to this in the works, it is strongly advised that any individual interested in becoming a surgical assisting professional should seek certification with the ASE.
