Is Auto Technician Certification Mandatory in Massachusetts?

Currently, auto technician certification is not mandatory in Massachusetts.

Although auto tech certification is not currently mandatory in most states, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is heading a movement to make it necessary for employment. With this in the works, it is strongly suggested that anybody thinking about becoming a surgical assisting professional should seek certification from the ASE.
