ASE Certification
Is Auto Technician Certification Required in South Carolina?
At this time, auto technician certification isn’t required in South Carolina.
Although auto technician certification isn’t currently mandatory in all states, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is leading a movement to make it a requirement for work. With this in the works, it is strongly suggested that any person considering becoming a surgical assistant should pursue certification through the ASE.
