ASE Certification
Is Auto Technician Certification Mandatory in Texas?
At this time, auto technician certification is not compulsory in Texas.
Even though auto tech certification is not at present mandatory in all states, the ASE is leading a movement to make it required for employment. Due to this happening, it is strongly suggested that any individual thinking about becoming a surgical assistant should acquire certification from the ASE.
